Mason is in critical care at Brisbane hospital. Mason's mum is a single mother who lives in New Zealand. She got the phone call every mother dreads in the middle of the night. Mason had an accident and broke his neck and damaged his spinal chord. He was found at the bottom of a swimming pool.
Please help Mason's mum be with him in the Critical Care Unit and stay in Brisbane with him for as long as possible. Funds are really tight so any donation would be so very much appreciated.
The money will go towards Mason's recuperation and the costs associated with his recovery and rehabilitation, as well as helping his mother be by his bedside.

The funds will go towards airfares, accommodation and costs for Mason's mum and sister to stay with him while he is in hospital.
Update 14 January 2018 14 January 2018
Mason has been steadily improving and can now breathe on his own. He has moved from the ICU into an orthopaedic ward in the interim before his transition into the spinal unit for more physio and rehabilitation where he will be for the next 6-12 months. Against the odds, Mason has regained some movement of his limbs, and he is determined to regain more with his positive attitude and the intensive therapy ahead.
He has surprised a lot of people, including medical staff, with his remarkable progress.
Lee, Mason and family would like to thank you for all your support. They have been overwhelmed by the messages of encouragement and the incredible generosity of friends, family and strangers.
