Help Maz volunteer on the Mercy Ships!

Hello! My name is Maz, and I’m a Dietitian from New Zealand with a passion for making a difference through healthcare. In February 2025, I will be volunteering for eight weeks on the Mercy Ship, Mercy Africa in Madagascar —a floating hospital that delivers essential medical care to underserved communities along the coast of Africa.

As a Dietitian, I’ll join an incredible team of international volunteers to support patients who need expert care to recover and thrive. My role involves ensuring patients receive the right nutrition needed for surgery and recovery, educating families on healthy eating practices, and helping build a foundation of wellness that will last long after the ship departs.

This mission is entirely volunteer-based, and I’m reaching out to friends, family, and generous supporters like you to help fund my journey. Every dollar raised will cover travel, accommodation, and supplies needed to make this work possible.
