Help Mazie Walk Again
Mazie has always been that dog that’s just… there for everything.
Gentle, loyal, always close by — never far from us. She’s a big part of our everyday life.
After a fall, she’s badly injured her front leg. It’s a hyperextended carpal injury, and her joint has collapsed. The ligaments aren’t holding it anymore, so she can’t support her weight properly.
She still tries.
She still gets up to follow us, still wants to be involved… but you can see it’s hard for her now.
The surgery she needs is to fuse the joint so it can’t collapse anymore. It means she won’t be able to bend that part of her leg again, but it would give her something she doesn’t have right now — stability, and a chance to walk without pain.
Without the surgery… this is her life.
Struggling to move, adjusting to less and less, and slowly losing the things she loves.
And she doesn’t understand why.
So far we’ve already spent around $3,300 trying to help her, and the surgery needed is about $6,600, plus recovery and follow-up care.
If you’re able to help, we’d be so grateful — and if not, even just sharing this means a lot.
I just want her to have a fair chance at a normal, happy life again.
Thank you ❤️
