Join me in supporting my father, who is fighting an unfair eviction in Slovenia with just few days to save his home.
Auckland
With just 15 days to leave his apartment, my father is being evicted unfairly, forced to navigate an overwhelming and complex system on his own. This isn’t just a fight for one man’s home—it’s a fight against the crushing weight of capitalism, where the small and vulnerable are so often ignored or trampled.
Christmas now looms as a deadline for him to pack up his life and go. Where and how - that's his problem. But my father is not giving up, and neither am I.
I’m asking for your support to help him fight back— to secure his home and to stand up to a system that prioritizes greed over justice.
Your support will go directly towards (past and future) legal costs to challenge the eviction and prove his right to stay.
How you can help:
1. Donate to this page. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a real difference in giving my father the fighting chance he deserves.
2. Share this page. If you’re unable to donate, sharing it with others helps amplify our cause and spread the word. Thank you so much for even considering—it means the world to us!
3. Connect us to a media outlet. As certainly this is not a unique story, we would like to get loud!
Thank you for standing with us in this fight. Your generosity and support mean more than words can express, especially during this difficult time.
The money will go exclusively towards getting us the best possible legal counsel in Slovenia

The appeal is to go out shortly, along with some media story. This is now real, and it's scary and it makes my heart work double and miss a beat at the same time. None of us should be doing this; fight so hard just to live. I am incredibly grateful for the support and will continue with the updates as the things unfold.
