Help me fight cancer.
Please help me raise the medical expenses which will extend my life.

Over a period of 5 years I have had 3 operations for melanoma related cancer. Over this time it has progressed to now be deep in my pelvis - metastatic melanoma. I can not have any more operations in hope of removing the cancer, however there are other treatments available. I have exhausted the immunotherapy treatment through the public sector. My next and only option for treatment is unfunded drugs which will cost in excess of $50,000. As a teacher I have always put children and families first , time, love, care ,coaching, mentoring - contributing to the lives of many young people. I now need help myself.
Use of funds
This will finance the unfunded drugs necessary to treat my cancer. Dabrafenib and Trametinib

12 months after 1st treatment 9 October 2024
To all the wonderful and thoughtful sponsors I have had during my fight with cancer. My last Immuno treatment was on the 4th October, and for the first time there was no sign of cancer in my CT scan and blood tests. My oncologist is really happy with my progress, and she has ordered my next two treatments. I would like to thank everyone who has supported me through this trying time, especially my family, friends, work colleagues and students at Opihi College. I will continue to have Immuno treatment for the next 12 months and then have a small break. I have been told that this treatment will not get rid of the cancer forever. but I am so happy that it has given me extra time to spend with my wife and son. Once again God bless, you have made a big difference in my life( Ma te Atua e manaaki, kua hanga e koe he rereketanga nui i roto i toku ora ).
