#besogoodtheycantignoreyou Help me get to the 2019 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Åre, Sweden.
Hawke's Bay
The FIS Alpine World Ski Championships are held every two years with 569 athletes from 76 nations competing. I was 15 years when I first competed in a World Championship event in Austria in 2013 and since then I have represented NZ in two other World Championship events. This year I met the mandatory nomination criteria for the 2018 Winter Olympics alpine team, and although my governing body did not nominate me to the NZOC, I have refocused my efforts to qualify and be selected to represent New Zealand at the 2019 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Åre, Sweden and the 2022 Winter Olympics. I am the current 2018 NZ National Giant Slalom and Slalom Champion, the 2018 ANC Continental Cup yellow bib winner for both Giant Slalom and Slalom, the top NZ seed in Slalom, male and female and best world ranked NZ athlete in Slalom. I am currently world ranked 109 from 2600 FIS registered women in Giant Slalom. My mantra #besogoodtheycantignoreyou is my personal challenge. My family and I fund-raise by attending shows and fairs selling cowhide products throughout NZ. Be part of my journey and help me get to the World Champs in Sweden next year. Thank you!
Training and competition expenses so I can qualify and represent New Zealand at the 2019 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Åre, Sweden
