Please help me get back surgery

I'm biting the bullet on this one, big time!

Most of you won't know this but I'm in desperate need of disc replacement/spinal fusion surgery. I've had back issues on & off since I was younger but in Dec 2021 I injured it during a workout & it's taken control of my life since.

It may not look it in photos/certain situations, cos I'm determined to carry on with life & am as high as a kite most of the time (😂) but I'm in excruciating pain all of the time. I have severe disc degeneration from L2 to S1 & 3 disc herniations. Those who've known me for ages know I've always been a very physically active, sporty person who loves running round like an idiot. I currently can't do anything of the sort, which is very rough on the mental health. Sometimes it gets so bad I can barely stand or walk.

ACC were covering me but stopped Sep 2022, so I've had no choice but to work (light duties). My job as a Train Driver is on the line if I don't get this op soon. The public system have been a nightmare & I don't have the energy to play anymore games, so I'm going privately because quality of life comes first. I'm not the type to turn to this kind of thing for help, but I've tried everything I can to better my situation, including working through the pain, and I'm mentally exhausted. I've been quoted $63,000 so every penny counts.

All I want is an improvement to my quality of life where I can at the very least, play with & hold my son without worrying about pain or that my back is gonna give out
