Help Me Get To Africa To Save The Wild Animals

Hi there, my name is Katie Scott. I am 18 years old, attending my last year at High School.

For as long as I can remember I have loved animals and have a passion for the environment. I want to ensure that no animals become extinct during my lifetime and that I can persuade people to look after endangered species and the environment for our future. I hope to work with wild animals when I leave School and in order to achieve this I plan to attend university next year to obtain a degree in Zoology or Vet Nursing.

To help me further achieve my goals and to obtain some work experience, I plan to travel to South Africa sometime in 2020 or early 2021 to volunteer on a big game reserve near Kruger National Park.

I entered a competition earlier in the year and won a small amount of funding towards my trip, however I need to raise at least $6500 to achieve my dream.

So far I have raised $4000 myself by running a bake sale, raffles and by receiving generous donations. I also work part time at a local restaurant on the weekends. I am seeking further donations from anyone willing to support my dreams.
