Help Erin represent Aotearoa New Zealand at the 2025 FISU World University Games in Germany this July.
Auckland
Kia ora, my name is Erin Goldsmith, and I’ve been selected to represent Aotearoa New Zealand at the 2025 FISU Women’s World University Games in Germany this July.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to compete against top university athletes from around the world—something I’ve worked incredibly hard for.
Water polo has been a big part of my life for years. It’s more than a sport—it’s taught me resilience, discipline, and the value of being part of something bigger. Through early mornings, late-night trainings, and juggling uni and work, this sport has shaped who I am.
Unlike many sports, water polo in NZ isn’t fully funded—each player must self-fund the trip, which costs around $12,000. This covers travel, accommodation, uniforms, tournament fees, and training.
I’ve started doing everything I can—working extra hours, organising raffles, and reaching out for support—but I can’t do this alone. If you're able to donate, even a little, it would truly mean the world.
Your support doesn’t just help me get to Germany—it helps me pursue my goals built on years of training, sacrifice, and passion. You’re backing a Kiwi athlete ready to give it everything on the world stage.
Thank you so much. Every dollar and every share makes a difference.
Ngā mihi nui,

The funds will go toward travel, accommodation, uniforms, tournament fees, and pre training camps.
