I can't help her fund-raise the way I would like as I have Myeloma, a type of blood cancer, and am preparing for a stem cell transplant.

My daughter Caitlyn Jones is a textile design student at CoCA Massey in Wellington. She and nine of her fellow students have been awarded the 2019 Prime Minister's Scholarship for Asia award (PMSA), which allows her to travel to India for six weeks in early January 2019, where she will be interning at Jaipur Rugs.
While most of the costs are covered, Caitlyn needs to come up with some funds of her own for costs not covered by the PMSA. She will also be without her usual summer holiday income, which will make next year's studying more of a challenge financially.
I was diagnosed with Myeloma in February, and have five months of chemo under my belt. I'm currently preparing for stem cell harvest late August, before transplant a month later, which will mean 2-3 months off work. I'm not in a position to help her with fund-raising, and she is time poor herself with a heavy load of course work and a part-time job.
Please help me help Caitlyn realise this amazing opportunity.
Here are a couple of links for more info about the Prime Minister's Scholarship for Asia, and an article about Jaipur Rugs and the work they do in India:

I'm Caitlyn's mother, and I have cancer (Myeloma) and am preparing for a stem cell transplant, so I can't help my daughter fund-raise the way I would like to.
$2,000 for flights & accommodation, a little to cover vaccinations and other travel costs not covered by the PMSA, and maybe loss of earnings. If she gets more than she needs, Caitlyn would like to donate the surplus to the Leukaemia & Blood Cancer NZ.
Thank you all so much 19 August 2018
So humbling and heartening to see the wonderful response we've had. One less thing for me to Mum-worry about at a pretty full-on time for me. Chemo last week to kick off stem-cell production, daily injections of growth factor, and harvest in in the coming week.
You're all wonderful x
