Sue Murray Helping The Cook Islands SPCA

Sue Murray is raising money to freight a pallet of dog food to support the dogs in the care of the Cook Islands SPCA

Nationwide

My passion is dogs and where possible giving them the best life possible. So when I saw an opportunity to support the Cook Islands SPCA as a volunteer for two weeks, I jumped at the chance. I have taken two weeks annual leave and am funding the trip myself. I leave early November.

The SPCA do a great job there with limited resources struggling to obtain the basics. That's the purpose of this page. Sue Murray wants to freight a pallet of dry dog food to Rarotonga to donate to them. The money donated will cover not only the freight but landing costs at the other end.

We love our dogs and many of them are lucky to have good food, a warm bed and an abundance of love. Your donation will help to feed those hungry tummies in their care. The more raised, the more I can send so let's go for it.

"It makes little difference to the world to save one dog's life but a world of difference to that one little dog"

Money well.spent  16 June 2020

To all who donated here is an update on how your generous donations have been spent.

With no tourist donations times are tough for the Cook Islands SPCA dogs so I have transferred $600 from donations raised through this page to buy food and cleaning products to support these dogs.

These donations have also.bought puppy milk powder which an NZ volunteer took over prior to lockdown to feed a bundle of wee puppies.

There are further funds I am holding in an account to transfer when required.

Again thank you for donating...your thoughtfulness and funds have truly made a difference to little lives.

Your generosity is so appreciated.

Thank you 💚

Oh you darling. You have such a big heart for this cause and dogs in general. We are now on on our way to provide a steady supply of good quality dog food and really take the pressure off the SPCA so they can concentrate on other welfare matters. Thank you so much.
