I am an 11 year old singer and actor fundraising to get to perform in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland in August 2019.

I am 11 years old and I have been a part of the world of theatre since before I was born! My mother was performing in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat when I was conceived, I had my first brief appearance onstage with her the following year when she was performing in Les Miserables, and I had my first role as a sheep in a Nativity play at Nelson Cathedral aged 3.

My first real role was as Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol age 4, and since then I have performed in 8 plays and 15 musicals, including a chorus role in CATS, Marta in The Sound of Music, Grantaire in Les Miserables, a Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland JR, Rafiki in The Lion King JR, Alex (the lion) in Madagascar JR, and Annie in Annie.

I have also helped out in other productions by operating the lights for Anything Goes and Grease, being a Mic operator in The Phantom of the Opera, and through directing two One Act Plays and a musical Holy Moses!

I have trained in stage combat, including sword fighting with real rapiers for a play called Satisfaction, where I played an assassin, and recently spent a week in Auckland training on a pilot musical yet to be released called Newsies JR, being one of the first people in New Zealand to perform in this play.

In August 2019 I will be part of a big group of 30 youth theatre performers travelling there to perform Grease at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the world's biggest theatre festival with over 3000 different shows performing in a 3 week period.

All of us have been set the challenge of fundraising for ourselves half of the $4000 cost, through getting part time work, busking, selling craft works, sausage sizzling, selling off unwanted clothes and other stuff, chocolate sales etc.

Please help me raise the funds to get to Edinburgh to perform Grease there in August 2019 by giving a little on this page.

Your help is really appreciated!

Use of funds:

I need to raise $2000 for myself, out of the estimated $4000 cast of the trip. The first $1600 will go towards airfares, any surplus will help towards accommodation costs for the 2 weeks.
