Help Harry afford new music production equipment so that he can continue following his dream of becoming a professional music producer.
Nationwide
I am a music producer currently based in the Kāpiti Coast. My laptop has just broken, temporarily disabling my workflow and income as a professional artist. I am asking for your generosity to help me replace this laptop so I can continue following my dream of helping musicians record songs they can be proud of.
The timing of my laptop breaking is poor as I am in the midst of my first paid work as a professional, independent music producer. I am helping both Cap City and Hey Son, two Wellington-based bands, produce songs and press kits. Unfortunately, I can't continue this work without a working laptop.
Here is a link to a short demo I made over Easter Weekend for hip-hop group CapCity.
Of course, it is reasonable to ask, ''Why doesn't he just get a job and buy one himself with his own hard-earned money?" The answer is that I am a full-time student studying Te Reo Māori at te Wānanga o Raukawa. I don't have the capacity to study, work and produce music at the same time.
I am asking for enough money to buy a laptop that will be able to run the software I require to achieve my producing dreams.
All funds raised will go towards buying new music production equipment.
Ah thank you so much! Are you someone I know personally so that I can thank you by name?
