Help me pursue my dream of representing NZ on the world stage!

Kia ora!

My name is Lyani and I have recently been selected to represent New Zealand on the world stage as a member of the Senior Women's team (the Ice Fernz) in Hong Kong, China in March of next year. I am beyond excited for the opportunity and the challenge, and super excited and proud to wear the fern for the first time. I have been playing the sport for just under 3 years and making this team has been the dream since I first put on skates, with the hope of many more years to come.

However, representing NZ in ice hockey comes at a cost, with each player having to raise around $3500 to participate in the tournament. While there is a cost, I know the experience will be invaluable for myself, and in growing the women's game in New Zealand and Dunedin especially, where I live. I would be deeply appreciative and grateful for any contribution, whether big or small, to help me pursue this dream and ease the stress, so I can focus on preparing myself fully for this event and giving my all to help bring home gold. Any contribution will not go unnoticed!
