Raising $2,000 for Afrika Tikkun through the Spirit of Belron Challenge to support youth education and opportunities.
Hawke's Bay
Hello friends, family, and colleagues,
I’m on a mission to raise $2,000 NZD for Afrika Tikkun — and hopefully even more.
Why, you ask? Because I was honoured to be selected by Belron to represent New Zealand at the Spirit of Belron Challenge in the UK — a global event dedicated to raising funds and awareness for Afrika Tikkun.
This challenge is about more than sport. It’s about impact.
Afrika Tikkun supports children and young people in under-resourced communities in South Africa by providing:
📚 Education support
🍎 Health and nutrition programmes
🧠 Life skills development
💼 Job readiness and employment pathways
Your donation helps give young people access to opportunity — something many of us are fortunate to have.
My Personal Challenge
To make this meaningful, I’ll be pushing myself physically over the coming weeks through:
🚴 Cycling distance challenges
💪 Fitness goals and push-up challenges
🥾 Outdoor hikes and endurance activities
Every dollar donated motivates me to go further.
What Happens If We Go Beyond $2,000?
$2,000 is the goal — but if we exceed it, I will keep going.
Every extra dollar raised continues to support Afrika Tikkun’s life-changing programmes. There is no cap on impact. The more we raise, the more young people we help.
So let’s not just meet the goal — let’s beat it.
If you’re able to contribute — even $20 makes a difference.
Thank you for supporting this journey and helping create real opportunity where it’s needed most.
Let’s make an impact together 💛
I am fundraising in support of Afrika Tikkun as part of the Spirit of Belron Challenge, helping raise funds and awareness for their youth development programmes.
Funds will support Afrika Tikkun programmes that provide education support, health and nutrition services, life skills training, and job readiness opportunities for young people in under-resourced communities in South Africa
