We’re beyond proud to share some incredible news — Havik Ford, born 28/11/2010, has been selected for the 2025/26 New Zealand U20 Ultimate National Training Squad!

At just 14 years old, Havik is the only player from Nelson to be scouted for this elite squad, a huge achievement that reflects his passion, hard work, and dedication to the sport of Ultimate. He’s stood out in club competitions, tournaments, and national championships — and now he has the opportunity to train and compete with the very best in Aotearoa.

All training camps and squad commitments are based in Auckland, which means significant travel, accommodation, and other costs. These will add up quickly, especially with future opportunities to represent New Zealand internationally at the 2025 Trans-Tasman Test Series and the 2026 World Junior Ultimate Championships.

We’re reaching out to our community to help us support Havik’s journey. Every dollar raised will go directly towards getting him to training camps, covering gear and tournament fees, and helping this talented young athlete chase his dream.
