Help Me Thank My Family with a Christmas Surprise

Hi, I’m Bee — and this is the hardest thing I’ve ever written.

The past year has turned my world upside down. I was diagnosed with cervical cancer, endured intense chemotherapy and radiation, and recently had major lung surgery. Alongside all that, I also lost my job due to retrenchment.

But through it all, my husband and daughter have been my rocks.

My husband works incredibly hard in a high-stress job and never complains. He has been my quiet strength, showing up for me every day with unwavering love. My daughter lives in the South Island, and we only get to see her once a year — usually at Christmas. Her long-distance support has meant more than words can say.

I’d love to thank them both with a healing holiday — a few days to reconnect, breathe, and create joyful memories together. We’ve dreamed of going to the Gold Coast this Christmas, but with no income right now, we simply can’t afford it.

I’ve been doing my best to raise funds through my small business, BeeKind Reusables – Giving Treasures a Second Flight! But it’s not enough right now.
