Lost $1.3K, but not my Linkin Park dream, please give me a hand!

Kia ora, this is Leo. I lived in New Zealand for 3 years until April of this year, some of the most meaningful (and challenging) years of my life. Like many backpackers, I went there chasing dreams, experiences, and a better future.

But things didn’t always go as planned. I went through hard financial moments, constantly trying to find jobs just to get by. During that time, I sold my iPhone 13 Pro Max (about $1.3K) to cover living costs, but I was scammed and never received the payment. I even took the guy to court and waited two years, but nothing came back.

Now I’m back in Chile, studying at university, living alone, and paying rent. I lost my part-time job a month ago, and things have been tough. If I’d received that money, I wouldn’t be struggling to afford a ticket now — if you could slide me a dollar to help me get a ticket to see Linkin Park, I’d be truly grateful.

I couldn’t make it to their concert in Chile in May 2017, and soon after, Chester was gone. Now they’re coming again, but this time with Emily, and I’d love to be there for this new debut and chapter.

I can cover transport (around 50 NZD), but I’m short for the ticket. I’d love to go to Cancha Frontal, but I’ll buy whatever section I can afford with your help.

I’m also selling some clothes I left with a friend in New Zealand to help fund the ticket. If we make it, I’ll bring a New Zealand flag to the concert and share the moment with everyone who helped me.
