Help me reach my dream to become an experience-United Nations!!!

I have been dreaming for an experience of a lifetime like this one since I knew I was going to work for United Nations. I woke up with excitement as I saw the announcement from my emails.

From 18, 3000 applicants, I am a selected to be one of the 1000 delegates from all around the world, one of the only ones from New Zealand to Asia Youth International Model United Nations in BANGKOK, THAILAND!!! AHHHH.

I will be travelling by myself to Bangkok from Hawke's Bay and back in the beginning of November. I will be competing in plenaries and committee sessions discussing, negotiating and writing resolutions to improve the lives of others, restore justice in issues and build international cooperation. I will meet new people, learn new things that will add to my set of MUN skills and future endeavour of studying Law and International Relations.

AYIMUN is a prestigious competition, in which I delve into the world of diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations. There, I use researching, public speaking, debating, and writing skills, in addition to critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership abilities.

I have had a great experience in my MUN journey in NZ, although only finding about it this year; I received scholarships to Model Westminster Parliament in Wellington, NZ National MUN in Wellington and NZ National Model Parliament in Christchurch. And I am very blessed to extend my MUN experience from a regional and national platform to an International event.

Of course, with this awesome opportunity to travel and network with like-minded people, there also comes a cost: I need to raise Just under $1000 for fee registrations and accommodation in Thailand, the minimum is $700 but anything above would be helpful. Scarily I will be travelling by myself from New Zealand! And I really would love your help and fully appreciate it.
