Please help me raise 9k to realize my dream of Paralympic Gold as a tetraplegic swimmer for New Zealand.
Bay of Plenty
I became a tetraplegic six years ago in a surfing accident when our second daughter was 6 days old. It's an understatement to say that life has been quite a rollercoaster since that day.
The water had as always been my world, I long for the weightless and freedom it offers.
And now I have an amazing opportunity.
It is my aspiration to be in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games swim team and I am gunning for Gold for our country.
But I need help. I need to self-fund a hoist that will get me in and out of my local pool, where my coach is based, and set up for high performance race training.
There has never been a swimmer with my level of impairment swim for New Zealand. I want to make history. And would love you to be a part of this journey.
