Help MEGA MADNESS Get to the World Champs!

We are the Junior World Division Hip Hop crew, MEGA MADNESS, from Marlborough Academy of Dance (MAD), and we’ve been invited to represent Aotearoa New Zealand at the Hip Hop Unite World Championships in Prague this October!

In June, we competed at Hip Hop Unite New Zealand and placed in the top five in our category — an elite division known as “the best of the best.” This was the first time MAD has entered a crew into the Junior World Division, and we’re so proud to be making history for our studio and our region.

Preparing for this opportunity has taken months of dedication, resilience, and intense training. As a team, we've pushed ourselves physically and mentally, and we’re beyond excited to showcase our passion and hard work on the world stage.

But getting to Prague isn’t cheap, and the financial burden of international travel, accommodation, and competition costs is a big challenge for our families.

We’re reaching out to our community for support. Every little bit helps and goes directly toward making this dream a reality.
