Help Michelle get a ramp from her home and possible hip replacement in the future

Hello, my name is Michelle Seidelin, I am a 65-year-old pensioner.

I have created this page to help me with funding to get a ramp added to my property for me to leave my home without support. I am housebound without someone’s help to get out of the house, who would be my home support.

I am currently waiting to try cortisone injections to see if it helps me to deal with the pain. The specialist said I am a high risk for hip replacement surgery.

If the cortisone injections do not work, then a hip replacement will be considered. The waiting list for this is around five years through the public hospital. If I need to get the hip replacement there will be ongoing costs afterwards, e.g., doctors, physio, extra support etc. It would take a long time to recover, and I would need a lot more support than what is allocated to me at this point.
