Help my daughter (the victim of bullying/assault) get a pet 😽

Help my daughter, the victim of assault, get a kitten for her well being.

Wellington

My daughter is a budding model, who has been the victim of two serious brutal physical assaults which have both times broken her nose. The latest one has seen her have her hair ripped out, bruising, a black eye.

Bullying and violent assault is never okay. To help her recover we seek funding to help get her a pet kitten. We have chosen the ragdoll breed as they are known and loved for their sociability. We have one cat already and also feel he could use the company.

This year has been incredibly tough on my daughter who is 13. The assaults have caused our family immense stress when she should be focussed on having fun and learning.

She desperately wants a kitten as this would provide her with much needed extra emotional support and would teach her valuable animal care skills. She has said she may be interested in becoming a vet nurse when she is older.

Have included a photo of my daughter when she was three. She did not deserve this absolutely vicious brutality.

New kitten settled in 😻  11 December 2022

My daughter is doing better and recieved an apology letter from her abuser. Our new kitten called Takashi thanks to ALL OF YOU, has settled in really well. He is a real character and is heading to 14 weeks. Needless to say, we are in LOVE and we spoil him rotten! He's super affectionate, sweet, and goes for cute little harness walks. He's got a great vet and is just seems very happy. He is very smart so needs loads of stimulation but we provide all that. He sleeps wherever he wants and has about three cute little beds!

It was an awful cowardly attack from behind with no warning. It's very shocking. Time (a few years) will heal this memory. I hope your daughter does change schools or at least the headmaster gets their act together. This envy/ jealousy of the aggressor should have been dealt with, with a meeting of parties and the headmaster. The school failed your daughter.

Some people are just bad eggs, but don't let these horrible things that have happened bring you down thinking everyone's as rotten as the attacker - pity the horrible twisted existence the attacker must live. There's way more good people than bad in the world, so don't lose your ability to love others, and when you're able to, you walk strong and stand tall knowing you are YOU and YOU are perfect as YOU are - in all of the world there is only one you and that is fantastic! Much Love from our Fam, including our cat! :)

I'm so sorry that this has happened to you. I hope that your new little friend will help you with the healing. You are better than that big coward of a thug. Remove yourself from their world. Kia kaha. Best wishes.

Ohh sweetheart, since reading your story I cannot stop thinking of you. Sending you lots of aroha. It sounds like Mum has your back, you will get through this honey. That bully will eventually hold no power over you. She doesn't look tough, she actually looks sad and pathetic, and I truly hope she gets the help she very much needs before hurting and destroying anymore lives. Pets are great medicine! Good luck Sarah and whānau, and remember YOU are worthy xx 🐈 😻 🐈‍⬛️
