"Help my hometown recover from Typhoon Kristine floods!"
Canterbury
Dear Friends and Supporters,
I’m Jeff/Jepoy Gonzaga a Registered Nurse here in Christchurch, New Zealand. On the 22nd and 23rd of October my beloved hometown of Oquendo, Calbayog City, Samar in the Philippines has been devastated by severe rainfall and flooding. Many families have lost their belongings, damaged their homes, no electricity, no access to clean water, warm clothing, essential food and medicines, which are crucial for their health and well-being.
How You Can Help:
Your donations will provide vital support to affected residents and families, including:
- Clean Water: Bottled or filtered water to ensure our community has access to safe drinking water.
- Medicines: Essential medications and health supplies for those in need, particularly vulnerable individuals like children and the elderly.
- Emergency Supplies: Food and clothing for displaced families.
How can you help:
1. Donate: Every contribution, no matter the size, will help secure clean water, food, clothing and medical supplies.
2. Share: Spread the word on social media—your reach can significantly amplify our efforts.
I will keep you updated on how your support is making an impact. I am working with my childhood friends in Oquendo in organizing the relief efforts. Together, we can restore hope and health to my hometown. We Oquendohanons are known to be resilient and tough, we will rebuild stronger!
Thank You so much for Your Generosity! Diyos an mabalos!

Urgent Needs:
Clean water, essential medicines, warm clothing and easy to prepare food products.
Funds will passed to my childhood friend Jeffrey Yauder who is a local community leader and organizer in the Philippines helping with the floods.
