Help my sister take on the world representing NZ in a powerlifting competition in South Africa!
Mount Maunganui, Tauranga
In the profile picture is my sister Amy-lee and she is quite literally the strongest person I have ever known. In 9 weeks she is heading to South Africa to represent NZ at the IPF world powerlifting competition. Getting her to this competition is very expensive and due to uncertainty with covid, we haven't had a lot of time to fundraise. It is an incredible opportunity for her, to represent New Zealand and pursue her dream.
Powerlifting is small, relatively new and is a self-paid sport. For the next 9 weeks leading up to her competition date, I will be running up Mount Maunganui every day to help fundraise and support her in the last few weeks before heading off overseas.

We have almost reached the halfway mark for my fundraiser, both Amy-lee and I are incredibly grateful for the amount of support received. With the personal goal of trying to fundraise as much as possible for her we decided to increase the donation goal. Every little bit counts and will help her pay for the expenses that come along with having this opportunity. There has been an amazing amount of support we both have received and thank everyone very much :)
