Natania is in need of a specialised stem cell transplant in Australia. Please help her fight Scleroderma.

Hastings, Hawke's Bay

We are asking for help for treatment related costs for our Mum so she can live a long and healthy life.

Since 2023, Natania has been experiencing an aggressive form of scleroderma. This rare autoimmune disease attacks the healthy cells in the body, to cause an overproduction of collagen. Too much collagen affects the body by attacking itself, and produces scar tissue on internal organs, and causes tightness in the skin. This results in limited mobility, and possible organ failure.

She has experienced scleroderma renal crisis, which resulted in a being rushed into ICU at Hawke's Bay Hospital. Natania has also had numerous procedures and tests carried out to assist with her everyday living.

Her next step is a funded stem cell transplant in Sydney, Australia. Although the treatment is funded, other costs such as accommodation, aftercare and living costs are not covered for the minimum of three months for the treatment process.
