Please help us to keep my Aunt in hospital and with the care she needs to keep her comfortable as she completes her cancer journey.
Canterbury
My Aunt was diagnosed with ovarian cancer some years ago. She has spent some time on a visitor visa in Canada and now has become suddenly and unexpectedly very ill. It turns out her cancer has spread throughout her abdomen and her stomach has ruptured. She is suffering greatly. Unfortunately her medical costs (as a non-Canadian resident) are $3000 per day. Whilst I, my mother and my cousins are all pooling our (limited) resources to keep Aunt in hospital, time and money is running out. Will you help us to keep her as comfortable as we can, in hospital for the time she has left? We simply do not want her to suffer needlessly as she leaves this world.
My Aunt Kamlesh has been hospitalised under emergency in Canada where she is staying on a visitor visa with my cousin. She has been battling ovarian cancer for some years but suddenly has taken a turn for the worse, with a ruptured stomach and dehydration. It transpires that her cancer has massively spread and she is now days or short weeks away from dying. Her medical bills as a Canadian non-resident are huge ($3000 a day) which her family cannot afford so I am fundraising to allow her to be able to stay in hospital as long as possible.
The money will be directly used to pay the hospital bills at the St Therese Health Centre Emergency Department in St Paul, Alberta, Canada. We are also appealing to the Indian High Commissioner in Canada for assistance.
