Help needed for Lombok residents
Let's help those who are suffering and needing help from the recent massive earthquakes in Lombok, Indonesia.International
A massive 7.0 Earthquake hit Lombok, Indonesia on the 5th August 2018 at 7.36pm followed by another massive 6.2 Earthquake on 9th August 2018 in the afternoon around 2pm. The residents reported that the ground wasn't stopped moving for 4 days, giving no rest to anyone.
The death toll is 300 and counting, over 1400 injured, and over 160,000 with no homes, no running water, limited food and in urgent need of medical supplies.
One of my Indonesian friends who has been living and working in Auckland recently went back to Lombok for a short holiday just a few days before the disaster happened and I am glad she is safe, but she described the situation in there is in crisis, the residents are needing our HELP.
I would like to invite you to join a small group of our friends to be generous and kind enough to support and donate in helping Lombok residents to get through this difficult time.
These donations will be distributed directly to any effected residents in Lombok via one of our friend, Ayu, who has been actively helping (in Lombok) from the last few days.
Yuli Yuliana's involvement (page creator)
I am Indonesian who is currently live in Christchurch and would like to open a fund raising page to distribute to my New Zealanders and Indonesian friends to help Lombok residents who are unfortunate with the recent earthquakes.
Use of funds
All donations will be used to purchase supplies to those who need it such as food, water, blankets, medical supplies etc, and to rebuild the lives who have been affected in Earthquakes.
With all the donation we received from kind donors such you, our friend in Lombok made a program called "One family one tent" and we managed to provide 16 tents for the affected Lombok residents. We also contributed to the public toilet development in the local area.
