Help needed so Wendy can continue to save cats

Wendy is one of those people who quietly makes the world a better place, one rescued cat at a time.

For years, Wendy has dedicated her own time, home, and finances to rescuing abandoned, injured, and unwanted cats in our Local community. She takes them in when they have nowhere else to go, providing safety, warmth, food, and love while she works tirelessly to get them healthy and ready for adoption.

This isn’t a shelter with funding or paid staff, it’s Wendy opening her heart and home again and again. She covers the cost of food, litter, vet visits, desexing, flea and worm treatments, and emergency care herself, many of the cats she helps need medical attention or long periods of care before they’re ready to find their forever homes.

Despite the emotional and financial strain, Wendy never turns her back on an animal in need, every cat she fosters is treated as family, and every adoption is carefully considered to make sure it’s the right, permanent home.
