Help us buy a Trexo Robotic Walker for Neihana
Rotorua, Bay Of Plenty
Neihana is a 9 year old boy who is severely disabled. He lives his life between sitting in a wheelchair, a standing frame and lying down. However, he is a fun loving boy who would love to be able to move.
The Trexo walker is the first in the world which would allow him to take steps. It is not just for a fun experience but there are many important physical benefits of walking.
We need to buy the robotics legs, treadmill, pay for training, and the shipping from Canada. The cost of such a specialised device is huge and we would be extremely grateful for any support we can get towards paying for it. Thank you! xx

Use of funds
If we could raise $70,000 we could buy the robotics outright, however, if we can raise $45,000 we can at least get it on a subscription. Anything raised will go towards it, as well as our continuing our own savings and a loan if needed.

200k milestone! 19 February 2026
Neihana has had a challenging 2 years with constant illness. Despite this he has still managed to walk 200 000 steps! He enjoys going in his walker and watching his books at the same time. These are steps he never would have been able to take without your help, so thank you to you all again xx
