Help Neihana walk!

    Neihana has had a challenging 2 years with constant illness. Despite this he has still managed to walk 200 000 steps! He enjoys going in his walker and watching his books at the same time. These are steps he never would have been able to take without your help, so thank you to you all again xx

  • It’s arrived!

    Finally, after months of waiting and coordination, the Trexo robotic legs arrived on our doorstep today! We have the training and setup scheduled on January 5th so I will be sure to share a video of him walking for the first time. Thanks to all who made it possible! Xxx

  • First frame fitting (photo and video)

    We had our first fitting for the walking frame today. We were all pleasantly surprised how well he managed to stand in the frame! It went more smoothly than we expected. Now we just wait to add the robot legs instead of multiple people moving his legs 😂

  • Progress update

    Things are underway for getting the walker! We have a zoom call this weekend to start talking logistics and next week is our first fitting for the frame. Once the money is paid out next month, they can start production on the robotics in Canada. Anticipate it will take a few months to sort. Many thanks to everyone who contributed to make this happen! Also, I’m still working on my thank yous for the donations, 380 to go…..

    We can’t believe we have already reached our goal! We are OVERWHELMED with the generosity you have shown. Sorry I haven’t thanked everyone personally, I am working through the messages. We made a little video to celebrate. THANK YOU ALL for making this dream come true !!!
