Hi Everyone! We thought it would be time to let you know that unfortunately the drug pazopanib hasn't been working. All tumours have grown and they have now also found another one at the base of Dad's spine. This is what has been causing him so much pain. He is under hospice care for his palliative care now. They arranged a high dose of radiation for Dad which he had last week. This was to help with the pain. There is nothing more they can do for him which is a massive kick in the guts. Worst case he only has 2 months left. As always Dad is staying super positive and wanting to make the most of his time left. Mum and Dad left to head to Whananaki today. This is where Dad was born. He wanted to go back and have a look around (tick off another bucket list item). Any further funds will now be used towards funeral costs as well as helping with Dad's care and possible bucket list items while he can still get around.

We want to thank you all so much for your kind words and support. It has meant the world to our family and still does. Feel free to still share this page, we want to give Dad the best send off possible when the time comes so every dollar helps.

The photo that is uploaded with this update was another bucket list item for Dad. He is standing with Mum (Robynne) and his granddaughter (Eva) outside the house in Pukerua Bay where he grew up. Such a special thing to be able to see this place and see the happiness in Dad as he told us about the place and the memories he had here.

    Hi again,

Just wanted to share that Neville had an appointment with his oncologist on the 18th June. This was not good news as you can imagine. He has multiple tumours in both his lungs and now has 5 tumours in his liver, the largest measuring 11cm at its widest point. The liver is the worst as this will not give him much time. We discussed with the Dr about starting the drug Pazopanib and he suggested to do it straight away as that would be his only hope of prolonging life it if works. Worst case scenario is we only have 3 or so months left with Dad. This was the hardest thing we have ever had to hear. Time is short, life is short so we are trying to make the most of it while we have him around.

Dad has started the drugs two days ago now (4 tablets a day). There are many side affects so will take each day as it comes. Dad is still fighting so while he has that in him we cannot give up. Please help us by sharing our post and donating if you can. If we can have 6 months not 3 each and every day is a blessing.

    Hi All,

Thank you so much for the love, donations and care everyone is showing. Neville is a well loved man around the place and this shows the support and care people have for him. We sincerely appreciate it.

No new big updates yet. Dad met with his oncologist who has now confirmed the cost of treatment is $10500.00 a month!!! He is still waiting for a full body MRI so we can know the extent of the tumors, locations and size. At this stage we are just waiting and waiting and waiting... and of course enjoying each moment we have together.

Please help us by sharing the link to the page far and wide as this is the best way of boosting the page recognition.

    Love to you all!

    Suzanne (Neville's Daughter) xxx
