    Neyo had his second surgery yesterday. We picked him up this morning. He is not happy, he cried all the way home and would not sit anywhere but my lap. He is agitated and uncomfortable but hoping he will calm down over the next few hours. A huge thank you to everyone who donated. We would not have been able to do this without you all, every single $1 raised was a massive help to my family. We are forever grateful and I know Neyo will be in about 12 weeks as well xx

      Relieved to hear that he’s had his surgery. Never easy when they’re in pain, but hopefully he has fantastic pain killers and has a speedy recovery

  • Surgeon visit

    Neyo saw Boet his surgeon today and he is booked in for his next TPLO on the 19th April. Because of all of you kind people this is possible. We are so grateful thank you 💙

  • Surgeon visit postponed

    Neyo’s visit with his surgeon was put off by the clinic till Monday 29th, we are frustrated but know that it’s difficult as Boet only visits the clinic in Hamilton from Auckland on Monday’s. Neyo has been going for very short slow walks a few times a week because it’s very important for him to build strength in his leg that has the implant, he is still quite weak in this leg. We are patiently waiting for our surgeon visit and will update again soon.

  • X-rays

    Neyo had X-rays this week to check his post op healing and to check whether it can compensate for his other leg after his next surgery. We see Neyo’s orthopaedic surgeon next Monday for an update. Have added a photo of my boys leg, our little bionic doggie 💙
