Please help Nikau Lodge Kaikoura survive after the 7.8 earthquake.
Canterbury
Nikau Lodge bed and breakfast in Kaikoura New Zealand survived the big earthquake. Jane, Quentin, and their dog Jack feel so lucky to have their home and their health.
Kaikoura held up extremely well considering the intensity of the 7.8 earthquake that hit on November 14 2016, but is facing a long summer with two of the three access roads into Kaikoura being closed for now.
With access being a bit of a challenge, the summer bookings have already dropped and the lodge faces little summer income that usually sees the business survive through the quiet winter.
They need your help. Any kind of donation to help keep this lodge operational and survive the next 12 months will be of huge help. Jane and Quentin love this house, and they love Kaikoura, it would be devastating to not be able to continue here.
If a donation isn't possible, please go stay with them! Tell your friends and family, Kaikoura is stunningly beautiful, the whales and dolphins are here waiting. Come stay at Nikau Lodge and support them through a really tough time.
I'm Jane and Quentin's daughter, my heart broke when the earth shook my home town. I would dearly love to be able to help Mum and Dad stay afloat.
