Help top disability golfer in NZ Guy Harrison a chance to head to Europe to break barriers and inspire New Zealand’s disability community.
Hawke's Bay
Kia Ora I'm Guy Harrison. Golf has played a huge role in my life, helping me overcome the challenges of living with Cerebral Palsy and shaping who I am on and off the course. Since 2019, I’ve competed on the New Zealand Disability Golf circuit, winning multiple events. In 2024, I became the first New Zealander to compete in a G4D event in Spain.
The 2025/26 season has been my most successful yet, with 5 wins and 2 runner-up finishes from 7 events. I was honored to be named the 2025 All Abilities Player of the Year and am currently the top-ranked New Zealand player with a disability in the EDGA rankings. After a year like this, I’m ready to take the next step and test myself on the international stage.
I’ve been given an incredible opportunity to represent New Zealand in three major Disability events across Europe in April/May. Which are the Disability Scottish Open, EDGA London Club Open, and the G4D Open in Wales.
For me, this is about more than just competing.
I want to put New Zealand’s Disability golf community on the map. I’m committed to inspiring the next generation of athletes, showing young players that a pathway exists, opportunities are real, and with hard work, they can reach the world stage too.
To make this trip possible, I’m raising funds to help cover flights, accommodation, and essential expenses. Any support will make a huge difference, ease the pressure and allow me to focus on preparing and performing at my best.
Any support would be greatly appreciated!
All funds raised will go directly towards these events in Europe which includes flights, accommodation, and essential expenses while I’m away. Everything needed to give me the best chance to compete and represent New Zealand properly on the international stage!
