Helping fundraise so some of NZ's best young hockey players can get to the Junior World Cup in Chile and Malaysia.
Auckland
The sport of hockey is not a cheap one - especially when you start playing rep hockey and then representing your country.
The teams for the FIH Junior World Cup has just been released and its only two months until the evenst being held in Chile and Malaysia. Here the best of Kiwi hockey will take on the best of the rest of the world - the Dutch, the Belgians, the Aussies and many more. These are our Black Sticks of tomorrow so we are helping them do some fundraising to get to Chile and Malaysia.
Each player has to raise $14,000 which includes the event as well as two training camps prior to leaving. Its a lot of money to raise in two months so we are doing what we can to help. Whatever we can raise will come off what the players need to pay so please do what you can and help share this fund raising page. This next generation of kiwi hockey players needs a kick start on that road to representing NZ at the LA Olympics.
These players deserve a helping hand so thanks in advance for anything you can do.
Having supporting hockey here in NZ and around the world through Planet Hockey for a decade or three we see the need to get some fund raising going so that these players have the best chance to excel on the world stage.
The funds raised will go to reduce the amount of money each player and their family will have to pay to attend the World Cup.
