Help Oscar Beat Cancer

Oscar needs life saving treatment to fight cancer.

Having been diagnosed with stage 3 bowel cancer in March 2022, Oscar had surgery and 12 rounds

of adjuvant chemo that finished in Feb 2023. His follow-up CT-Scan showed no evidence of disease

(NED).

Follow-up scans and two colonoscopies showed NED.

Fast forward May 2024, an MRI and PET /CT scan showed metastases to the liver and around the abdominal area. His oncologist said he will need ongoing treatment

He will have chemotherapy, but will need immunotherapy which isn't state funded.

Oscar was separated from his partner due to the cancer treatment, and then separated further when New Zealand went into lockdown during covid.

Finally Oscar and Anna are together, only to face the next challenge in their lives as Oscar start treatment to attack the cancer that threatens to come between them once more.

The medication/treatment is not funded in New Zealand, and will cost at least$50,000.00 not including all of the peripheral costs to be incurred in getting to and from treatments.
