Help others enjoy and learn in the outdoors

Peel Forest Outdoor Centre (PFOC) is a Registered Charitable Trust that runs outdoor skills training, outdoor recreation and education programmes and provides education for sustainability.

PFOCs mission is to provide opportunities for all to experience, learn and grow to their potential through safe and affordable quality outdoor and environmental awareness programmes designed to educate, challenge and inspire. PFOC ensures clients complete safe and delivers well directed programmes that enables and enhances personal growth and understanding of themselves, their community and the environment.

PFOC has been operating since 1994 and has changed the lives of kiwis (and internationals) through outdoor programmes, such as rafting, kayaking, high ropes, tramping and bush skills. The centre mostly attracts school groups for team building, personal development and education, however , holiday programmes, adult education and Duke of Edinburgh Awards are also conducted.

PFOC relies on continual support form sponsors and other organisations however, due to an ageing vehicle requiring expensive repairs the centre is in need of further support to rectify this situation.

Your donation will go towards the purchase of a replacement minivan/bus. This vehicle is used to transport our clients to various locations, suited specifically, to meet the requirements of our diverse training and education programmes.
