Help Our Beautiful Cindy Fight Stage 4 Cancer!

Cindy is single mum to three beautiful children and now 1 gorgeous granddaughter. She has dedicated her life to her family and raised three amazing confident and competent children; Ashley, Shaye and Bailey.

Cindy was diagnosed with Chondrosarcoma in her chest in December 2016. The first operation in February 2017 removed all of the tumor. This operation followed by several more to reconstruct her chest and ribs meant long recovery and therapy that Cindy met head on.

Later in 2017 Cindy's cancer returned and has now spread into her lungs with stage 4 Chondrosarcoma with lung mets. Cindy is still working for as long as she can, however will need support to manage the next stage in her journey.

Cindy has given her years to educating and caring for young children, she currently works in early childhood education and is the team leader for the baby center in one of our early childhood centers in Mount Maunganui. Cindy has developed lasting relationships with families and communities and gives everything she has to educating and caring for young children. This is her passion; which was was recently recognized when she was a recipient of an award for her dedication to this profession.

Her fabulous children living in Australia; Ashley and his partner Britny have a beautiful little girl which Cindy has recently just met for the first time. Shaye is starting her own adult journey working in Australia and Bailey the youngest attends Tauranga Girls College and lives with her mum. Bailey works part-time and aspires to be a mechanical engineer.

I have never met anyone so deserving of a full and rewarding life, she is selfless, humble and so down to earth. She gives of her heart and her time and is simply the best kind of person.

Please help us raise the funds for chemotherapy and loss of income to support this beautiful lady and her family. She has a journey ahead of her and we wish to make this a little easier.
