We aim to raise enough funds to lessen the burden of costs associated with sending kids to camp.
Auckland
RidgeView School is a small semi-rural school north of Albany. Every three years we take our Year 4, 5 and 6 children to camp so that every child has had the opportunity to experience the fine Kiwi institution of a school camp. We have chosen Sir Peter Blake MERC because it is close to school, so our travel costs are reduced, they are happy to accommodate our small group of students, and they provide qualified instructors to work with our students.
However, times are tough, and our families are struggling to find the money to pay the costs associated with school camps at the moment. We are appealing to our local community and businesses to make a donation towards our EOTC - a small contribution from you means a lot to each of our families.
Welcome to RidgeView! I am delighted to introduce you to our little school with a big heart. RidgeView is semi-rural and we are situated about 8km outside of Albany on a private road. Our school values are respect, excellence, and positive relationships.
Money donated will be used for the venue, food, activities, travel and all other costs associated with the CAMP.
Let's help make this happen! 10 April 2024
Thank you to everyone who has donated, we really appreciate it.
Giving our children a chance to go to camp is a very important part of childhood. Core memories are made, kids get a chance to do things they may never normally do, as well as the independence the children learns. Let's help make this happen!!
Thank you so much for your support!
