I had a similar situation and used the services of an ACC advocate. She is free to use for the first two stages, as ACC have set advocacy fees set aside for each claim. With her involvement, it didn't even get to an appeal stage, as she is wellknown and regarded by ACC. Arbitration with ACC is completed sans Lawyers, to reduce legal costs, if it fails the appeal stage.

Hi Camilla, we had a similar issue with ACC and used and advocate in Timaru who managed to have the decision reversed for a very reasonable cost. I can email his details if this would be useful to Rika.
