Help our team of cheerleaders reach for the stars

$285 of $5,000 goal
Given by 3 generous donors in around 3 months

Please help our #bluecrew cheerleaders represent NZ & show the world what our inspiring girls from the little gym in West Auckland can do!

Auckland

"To the world we are just a team but to each other we are a family".

Our family is the #bluecrew cheerleaders, a team of incredibly talented and hardworking athletes aged between 8 and 16. Their goal is to represent New Zealand in the 2019 Global Cheer & Dance Games in Hawaii.

"I never lose; either I win or I learn"

Training hard for up to 12 hours per week in their West Auckland based gym, our athletes are blessed with the most dedicated and caring coach you will ever meet. He motivates our girls to be fierce on the performance floor but also teaches them there is more to teamwork than just winning.

"All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them"

Our girls have amassed a huge number of victories over the past few years of performing and competing together, including 1st place, Grand Champions (highest score over all) and the best dance of the competition at the Battle in the Bays competition in Tauranga just last month.

"Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much"

Our athletes have won their place to represent New Zealand including a partially paid bid that makes our competition entry fees free, but all travel costs have to met by each individual athlete in addition to our partially paid bid (free entry). Sadly there are some team members who cannot afford to make their dreams a reality as the cost of international travel is to prohibitive for them. But we are a team and we wont leave team members behind, therefore, we are doing everything we can to ensure our team travels and performs together.

"It takes a village to raise a child"

Any time not spent training, our spirited bunch of girls (and their parents) are pouring their efforts into many different fundraising events such as sausage sizzles, community garage sale, horse racing night and much much more. We even thought of trying our luck at busking but it's illegal without a license.

As our athletes must fund the full amount of uniforms and travel costs we have created this give a little page to ensure our entire team can compete together in Hawaii in 2019. Please help our girls realise their dream of competing on the world stage by contributing to their team fundraising.

Use of funds

All funds will be used explicitly to cover the costs of any athletes travel and uniform costs in relation to the 2019 Global Cheer and Dance Games in Hawaii.
