Help ACG Parnell students represent New Zealand at the International History Bowl Asian Championships in Thailand this June.
Parnell, Auckland
History Bowl students from ACG Parnell in Auckland recently competed in the New Zealand History Bowl and Bee, where the year 13s were proud to place 3rd nationally in the Varsity division and the year 11s 1st in the JV division! These results have qualified two ACG teams to compete at the International History Bowl Asian Championships in Khao Lak, Thailand, an international academic competition organised by International Academic Competitions.
The tournament brings together top high school history teams from across Asia and the Pacific to compete in a challenging academic event. As for many of us this is our final year of high school, the opportunity to represent our school and New Zealand on an international stage would be incredibly meaningful.
However, attending the competition comes with significant costs. Travel, accommodation, and tournament registration total around $2,500 NZD per student, and we are currently fundraising to help make this opportunity possible. Any contribution, big or small, would directly help our teams attend the competition and represent New Zealand internationally.
Thank you very much for supporting us and helping make this opportunity possible.
I am a Year 13 student at ACG Parnell raising funds for our school teams competing at the International History Bowl Asian Championships.
Funds will go toward travel, accommodation, and tournament registration for ACG Parnell students competing in the International History Bowl Asian Championships in Thailand. Any amount raised will help reduce the costs for each student.
