Help Owyn Get To The "World Scholar's Cup" Sydney Global Round

Owyn is a Year 12 student at Aotea College in Porirua. Last year he won the individual World Scholar's Cup Regional in Wellington, and his team placed first overall. He and the team went on to the Global Round in Melbourne where Owyn placed 22nd individual out of over 800 students in the Senior Division.

Last month Owyn again won the individual 2019 World Scholar's Cup Regional and his team again won first place overall, this time scoring the most points out of any regional team worldwide, who've competed so far.

The Global Round this year is in Sydney in August. It costs $1200 for each student to register, plus the cost of airfares and accommodation, which could all come to a total of $3,000.

Owyn gained a great deal of experience and knowledge last year and is very keen to further these experiences this year.

We, as his family, want to encourage him, and assist our daughter to get him there. We will be very happy if there are people out there who can share our dream, and get this hard working, intelligent young man to the World Scholar's Cup Global Round 2019.
