Help Paddy Live Out His Days In Comfort

Paddy our gorgeous Palomino Welsh Pony has been part of our little community club for over 10 years. He came to us as a lesson pony and has given thousands of pony rides to local children over the years along with the opportunity to learn about pony care. He’s now over 25 years old, which is kind of like being in his late 80’s in human years! He’s still happy and reasonably healthy but in his senior years his healthcare requirements are growing. Our club is run entirely on a volunteer membership basis and is funded by a little fundraising, very modest membership fees and the occasional grant. As Paddy is a club pony, it gets a little challenging to fund his healthcare needs so we are asking for your help to help us make his senior years as comfortable and as happy as he deserves. Funds would be paid into our club account and kept aside specifically for Paddy care.

We are really working hard to ensure he has a nice environment to live out his days that allows us to manage his special dietary requirements (he can’t eat grass for a good portion of the year as it makes him sick with Laminitis) and his foot care in winter as well as giving him shelter and comfort. We have managed to save some funds towards this as a club but need around $5000 more to finish the work on his enclosure (to complete earthworks, a hard base and fencing).
