    So I started the Aquipta 16 days ago and it took up until day 10 for there to be any difference at all but over the past 6 days Ive only had 1.5 Rizatriptan which is massive when the 6 days prior to that I had 5.5 in the same amount of time, I’ve been experiencing a lot of nausea and GI upset but I’m hoping that will go down with time but still so exciting to start to see a real difference!!

  • Starting meds!

    I saw my neurologist yesterday and he reccomended trying a medication called Aquipta, same type as emgality but a daily pill, it’s more expensive than emgality at its full dose but he said alot of people have had success with 1/2 which at half dose makes it about 180$ per month. I’ve just started this pill today and here’s hoping it works, my neurologist also put through an NPPA which provides funding through pharmac but he said he hasn’t ever had one accepted but at least with the amount raised so far after paying my neurologist I’ll have enough of the pills for almost 10 months and if I need to switch to the Emgality 5 months! I’m so incredibly grateful to everyone and please reach out if you’ve donated so I can send a handmade thank you card.💕
