    Hi Everyone

    I thought I had better update you on Pam's health. Pam is still fighting on her battle against this aggressive disease.

    Please know that we are still running this page to help Pam and Pete with their expenses during her ongoing treatment.

    She was initially on immunotherapy - however unfortunately that has now been stopped (not Pam's choice).... as recently Pam noticed that her sight was being affected so she went to get her eyes checked, this led to a chain of events that discovered a new tumor behind her left eye and on top of her nasal bone - this tumor has eradicated some of the bone in that area and has to be hit with an aggressive radiation treatment regime which starts on Monday in Christchurch.

    There is also a new tumor on the base of her spine and currently she is in the Emergency Department dealing with an onset of immense pain.

    It's important to note that Pam's body is weak and suffering but her mind is sharp as a tack and she remains positive with the support of her ever faithful Pete by her side and her close family and friends.

  • 28th April 2021: Thankyou Message from Pam

    This message is from Pam to you all...

    A big hi to everyone! I wanted to pop on and personally shout out such a huge thank you from me and Pete for all of your amazing love, kindness, support in words and donations and messages in this race for my life ! Thank you, thank you. x

    Words alone don’t express our gratitude to Nols for setting up this page, our family and friends, and peeps we don’t even know, our Production Racing fam, and the many anonymous donations that have been so generously poured out to me. Thank you. X

    The whole purpose of fundraising was to be able to access an overseas treatment which is safe, non toxic, well researched and trialed at Utah University. To get the ball rolling, we shifted the goal post from the two year treatment plan and I have enrolled in the one year plan AND drum roll….. I started this week. Today is Day #3 which … fills us with much hope for this day to day journey. Within 3 days the swelling in my lower leg, feet and ankles has reduced to normal. There is a detox process and I have some really tough days, but always followed with some better days, it is a roller coaster but this is my new normal for now. This journey is not without its challenges, fears & unknown but it is also filled with faith, treasures and richness.

  • 9th April 2021: We Need Your Help....

    I spoke with Pam yesterday and she is forever an open book - her pain continues - even though she has to completely ween herself off the strong pain medication she has been on, in order to access further treatment.

    That is a real bummer, as you don't want her to be in pain and to get treatment - but in order to get treatment she can't be on the very medication that masks her pain :(

    We have raised a whopping $12,070 by 101 donors already - we have 144days left to raise the rest.

    I know it sounds desperate - but we are.....we don't have the luxury of time here, we need to act swiftly so that we can access every avenue we can.

    Pam would greatly benefit from hydrotherapy to take the pressure and pain off her spine and legs - caused by her cancer.

    Pam's cancer is inoperable and moving fast - so WE as her friends and family need to move just as fast.

  • Still Fighting - Can you help?

    Tuesday, 30th March 2021:

    Hey there everyone. Wanted to give you an update on Pam's condition. She is continuing to try and power through by using her crutches only - but needs the back up of the wheelchair. She is still unable to get any quality of sleep, and is tired out easily. Her cortisol levels are almost zero, which adds to the exhaustion.

    The good news....you will NEVER see Pam without a smile on her face - through the face of adversity she stands defiant against her disease and tall with fight!!

    Please continue to spread the word - we still have a way to go before we hit that total.

  • Change to our Goal Total for Fundraising

    22nd March 2021:

    Hello everyone - today we've reduced the total goal amount to $20,000. We've done this because Pam has received some amazing donations outside of the 'Givealittle' fundraising site and our main focus is to just pay for the treatment option that is available to Pam from the USA.

    The money donated to her from CZ Motorsport, some family and one generous HappyCo couple has supplemented some of the funds we require.

    Once again - this is entirely to pay for the treatment Pam needs, so please continue to share her story so that we can reach this goal. In less than a month we are half way there - thank you x

  • Pam's Motorsport Community Helping to Raise Funds!

    19th March 2021: Pam's Motorsport Family has come in to help raise funds towards some potentially life saving cancer treatment.

    Thank you to Zoe and all the team at CZ Motorsport in Nelson NZ for their unwavering support of this Superwoman in her time of need. It's so hard for Pam to accept outside help, but she knows that without it she can't get this treatment.

    As always Pam, Pete and her family and myself are simply flawed by the level of effort people are willing to go to when someone they love needs them.

    If you've pledged to donate or haven't yet donated - please don't wait as time is ticking by and we need to reach that goal - Bless you x

  • Proud and Grateful - Pam made another milestone...

    12th March 2021 [Haylie & Matt's Wedding Day]:

    One of Pam's health goals was to be well enough to attend her daughter's wedding. She had a terrible few days in the week leading up to the wedding, but she was determined to not have her illness mar the joy of that day.

    Not only did the Bride look stunning but our Pammie shone through on the day too. Well I'm biased because I love her so much, but I think she looks amazing! Pete and Pam's smiles say it all at how blessed they were this day.

    Pam is so humbled by the generosity of everyone who has donated and also to those doing other fundraising activities from her Motorsport family.

    We are a third of the way to the total needed to get Pam her treatment - please keep sharing this link and Pam's story so we can get to the total.

    Hi Everyone,

    If you've been following Pam's journey so far you would know that she is a warrior woman who is in the fight of her life against Cancer. Pam is an extremely humble lady who isn't used to being to open with her private life - but she knows that she has to do whatever it takes to BEAT this disease.

    She has a treatment option but it takes $$$ and that is something she simply doesn't have, so we are now asking you all to share this fundraising page far and wide on your Social Media pages in the hopes that we can reach the target as quickly as possible. Time is of the essence here.

    Pam wanted me to pass on how amazingly humbled she is at the generosity and caring nature of people out there who have donated and shared the page so far. She is overwhelmed with gratitude - I also thank you for your support and swift support.
