We are raising money for our Guinea pig Fox’s surgery so she can go back to living a happy and normal life 😊

Hello everyone, this is our Guinea pig Fox. Fox is the sweetest girl and absolutely loves all the chin scratches! She is only 8 months old but unfortunately she has a abscess that has grown under her chin.

For the best hope of recovery she is needing a surgery called ‘marsupialisation’ which opens the abscess up and helps it to heal from the inside out.

Unfortunately this surgery is going to cost around $2000 as there is only one exotic vet clinic in Auckland. This needs to happen in the next week or so as Guinea pigs can escalate very quickly because they have such little bodies.

Me and my husband are needing help to raise the money as I am unable to work currently as I have been in hospital every two weeks and he can only work one day a week as he has just had surgery on his foot. Every little bit will help.
