Help Peaches & her babies
Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty
Help Peaches and her puppies get a safe start in life 🤍
Peaches was found alone in the bush almost a month ago.
"Family" abandoned her. No one came forward. Despite multiple attempts through Council, it became clear she had been abandoned.
A kind member of our community stepped in and kept her safe from going to the pound (and possible death) until adopted.
Then we received unexpected news…
Peaches is pregnant.
She is due to give birth in the next 1 to 2 weeks, with at least 5 puppies on the way.
We are now doing everything we can to give her and her babies a safe, healthy start. We need help raising thousands of dollars, this will be an expensive one!
Your donation will go towards:
• Vet ongoing care
• Vaccinations for mum and pups
• Desexing for all of them
• Amputation of Peache's tail (she needs to have it once it's safe to do so)
• Microchipping, worming, flea treatments
• Food and supplies
• Whelping setup and safe environment - we need to buy fencing, a kennel, repair the roof in the shed, insulated floor, a proper enclosure where Peaches will be safe at night, etc.
• Unexpected medical costs if complications arise
We are a small, community-driven effort. Right now, we are stretched and doing everything we can to support her.
Foster Dave will provide the love, care and cleaning, while I'll provide check-up visits (4 or 5 times a week) and life training.
Every dollar helps us give Peaches and her puppies the chance they deserve.
Let’s come together and give this little family a future 🤍

8 puppies are here! 9 May 2026
Peaches gave birth to 8 puppies on May 4th.
They are all healthy and happy, Peaches is a good mumma!
She spent the first 4 days at Beach Road Vet Clinic for monitoring and a good start (thank you Brett & the BRVC team!) and now she's been moved to her new foster's home.
You can follow all updates about Peaches on our page on facebook Roma Dog Behaviour Academy.
