Help people in Ukraine and refugees, get them what they need right now.

I am setting up this Givealittle fundraiser with the simple aim, to raise money which would directly help people in Ukraine, get them food, water, hygiene supplies and also medical supplies and protective equipment for the people who decided to defend their country.
All raised money will be sent to 2 well established organisations in the Czech Republic providing aid to Ukraine - People in need and Post Bellum. They both have network of partners and their own employees locally, in Ukraine, and are able to get help where its needed, when its needed. The split will be half the money for each organisation.

I moved to NZ from the Czech republic 10 years ago, I know both People in need and Post Bellum and I trust them, I know they can provide the best aid possible.

2nd payment received and sent 27 May 2022
Hello everyone,
it has been 3 months since the war started the other day, unfortunatelly it does not look like it is going to end anytime soon.
I have received second (and final) payment from Givealittle, total donated in May was 523 NZD, but received only 496 NZD due to the Givealittle fees. I topped it up to 527 and transfered half and half of this sum to both organisations - via TransferWise again to avoid fees.

So this is the end of this appeal, but as I said the issue did not go away. If you feel like it donate to Unicef or Red Cross NZ.
